Brett graduated with a Bachelors with honours in civil engineering from University of Windsor in 2018. He began his career as a structural designer working on a variety of residential and commercial projects. Brett joined the Techtree team in January 2025 as a structural engineer in the building division.

Brett lives in Mount Brydges, Ontario with his wife, Colleen, daughter Aurora, and his dogs. When he is not working, he spends his time hiking with his family, completing brain teaser puzzles, or working on home improvement projects. He has a love for travel, his favourite travel place being New Zealand.
