Daniela has a diverse academic background and a passion for innovative design and problem-solving. After earning an Honors Chemistry degree with a Minor in Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2013, she made a bold career change, relocating from Richmond Hill, ON to Calgary, AB to pursue Civil Engineering Technology at SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology), where she graduated with a diploma in 2017.

With over two years of experience as a Revit & AutoCAD drafter in the manufacturing industry, she has developed a strong eye for detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in drafting and design. In February 2025, Daniela joined the Techtree team part-time, transitioning to a full-time position in April 2025, where her meticulous approach continues to support and enhance the projects that come her way.

Daniela currently resides in Sooke, BC with her husband Matt, daughter Winter, and dog Brodie. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family, exploring the beautiful island, attending live sporting events, visiting local breweries, and playing softball.
